PLAN PLAN PLAN!
Hi folks… i just thought i would do a quick post about how important it is to plan ahead.. and keep you from suffering from information overload!
I suffered from this over the past couple of days and so i did a quick video about it while i was recovering from it… just a bit of fun really.. just for you to see.. even us guru’s suffer from all this crazy marketing stuff!

I feel ya man. I have been thinking the exact same thing over the past couple of days. I was fired up to get blogging and blog hopping, then after reading so many blogs and watching the traffic videos from Alex I started getting information overload myself.
Planning is key…you got it. I need to plan ASAP to get some direction. Keep moving forward man. You got great stuff so far. Soon we will be gurus and will laugh about the early days over a cold pint.

Nice to see another new student of Alex’. I was in his first coaching program back in 08′ and it was the best thing I could have done. Welcome aboard!
Your video is on the money. Plan, Plan and Plan some more..without a plan you will fail. This is still one of the areas that I struggle most with as I occasionally drift off course. When this happens you just have to put the brakes on and get back to your plan or revise it a bit.
Things never go as planned but you have to have a starting point. As time goes on unforeseen things happen and you have to adjust. My plan is always changing but as long as I write it down somewhere I can stick to it for the most part.

It’s all good man, I’m sure we all feel like we’re back at square one sometime along the journey (I know it’s happened to me a few times) but you’re RIGHT about how to get through it, just PLAN PLAN PLAN and keep it simple…

Your video served as a good wake up call for me, thanks.
Though we need to oil rig hop (visit other blogs and post useful comments), and network on the forums etc (building relationships and adding value to others), sometimes it does feel like there are more productive things we could or should be doing.
I started writing an article on Thursday, and still today, Monday, I haven’t finished it yet! I’ve done other non-productive tasks instead, (or had to concede internet time to my hubbie…we need another computer!)
Actually, I take that back – the blog hopping/forum stuff isn’t non-productive, it will most likely have a future pay-off, with JV’s etc. but we must keep a balance, or it can consume too much time.
Nicky, I know exactly how you feel; it’s so easy to spend hours online drifting from one thing to the next, and feel like we’ve accomplished nothing much at all. And yes, that feeling is like being back at square one. Not good.
But truth is…we are building…and we now know that social online interaction is a big part of the online success that we are building.
Tell the truth, I never knew that before coaching with Alex Jeffreys. I did wonder why anyone would chose to buy something from me, Janet Chandler, a virtual unknown, rather than someone like Mike Filsaime, or Ewen Chia, or others of whom most every online marketer would know, or come across at some point in their online journey.
Now I understand it better. No one WILL buy from me, until they can get to know, like (hopefully) and trust me.
Internet Marketing is about marketing yourself first, your BRAND, as it were, and your PRODUCT second.
And branding takes time…but pays off big time!
Just think of Coca-Cola, Persil, Nike, Virgin – every brand was once unknown and just an idea or dream in the founder’s mind.
One day, Nicky, step by step, with the PLANS you are now doing…I leave the rest to you.

Where do you find good theme for wordpress? There are enough good themes, but sometimes complicated in settings. I have installed last versions of Designora, Aparatus, Secret Garden 2, Traction, also I installed also Heatmap – simple, but optimized for adsense. Very rarely we can see something simple but rich in settings.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and everything.
